Refund Policy

At Joy Sushi, we take pride in delivering exceptional quality, freshness, and service. Because our products are made fresh to order and include perishable food items, all sales are generally final. Please review our policy below.

1. Food Orders

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns of food, beverages, catering trays, or other consumable items once an order has been prepared, delivered, or picked up.

2. Incorrect or Missing Items

If your order arrives with an incorrect or missing item, please contact us as soon as possible at (714) 878-5422 or Joysushiusa@gmail.com. We will review the issue and, when appropriate, may offer one of the following:

  • replacement of the affected item

  • store credit

  • partial refund

3. Quality Concerns

If there is an issue with the quality of your order, please contact us on the same day the order is received and provide your order details and, if possible, photos of the item. We review all concerns individually and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund when appropriate.

4. Customer Order Errors

We are unable to provide refunds or replacements for orders placed incorrectly by the customer, including errors in item selection, quantities, delivery address, or requested pickup time.

5. Delivery Issues

Please ensure that the delivery address and contact information provided are accurate. Joy Sushi is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect customer information, lack of response at delivery, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Private Events and Catering

Event and catering payments may be subject to separate booking, deposit, cancellation, and refund terms provided at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • event deposits are non-refundable once the date is reserved

  • changes to guest count, menu selection, timing, or location may affect final pricing

  • cancellations made close to the event date may be non-refundable due to planning, purchasing, and preparation already completed

7. Refund Method

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Third-Party Ordering Platforms

If your order is placed through a third-party platform, including Clover or another online ordering service, certain refund or dispute procedures may also be subject to that platform’s policies and processing timelines.
